Frequently Asked Questions

  • Montessori education is child-centered, with students learning at their own pace through hands-on exploration in multi-age classrooms. The Montessori curriculum spans a three-year cycle, allowing children to build mastery over time and go as far as they are able in order to reach their highest potential, while traditional schools follow a one-year grade-level curriculum. Teachers in Montessori act as guides, fostering independence and curiosity, whereas traditional schools are more teacher-directed with structured lessons, grade levels, and standardized tests.
